Do we have to replace our current system?
No. Citrus works with the systems you already use, including Backstop, eFront, Allvue and your own models. It sits upstream, turning source documents into verified data and sending that data into your existing system.
How is this different from a managed data service?
Managed data services usually rely on standardised data from a central pool. Citrus reads your actual documents, including bespoke SPVs, co-investments, newer funds and LP-specific notices that may not be covered elsewhere.
What makes it “verified” rather than just extracted?
Citrus checks each field against defined rules for consistency, ranges, cross-references and reconciliation. When the checks pass, the data can move on. When something does not look right, Citrus flags it for review and links it back to the source.
